The Discovery is the model that has been driving Land Rover sales to record levels in the U.S.. One reason for this is that it represents good value from one of the premier 4-wheel drive auto makers. The Discovery is available in three models ΓÇö the SD, SE and SE7 ΓÇö and six option packages.
The SD has 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel, 4-channel anti-lock disc brakes and 16-inch alloy wheels. The SE gets automatic transmission and leather seats, electric glass sunroofs, power seats and fog lights, while the SE7 adds two rear folding seats for seven passengers, along with rear air conditioning and a hydraulic rear step. Options include 8-way power seats and a six-CD changer which is now located under the front passenger seat for easy access.
